• Easy Installation: The polyethylene material's minimal coefficient of friction facilitates the smooth pulling of the carrier pipe through the casing, ensuring easy and efficient installation.
• Cathodic Protection: The insulating properties, including excellent dielectric resistance and low moisture absorption of the polyethylene material, meet all the requirements of cathodic protection, minimizing electric current loss.
• Coating Protection: The polyethylene material's high impact strength and excellent abrasion resistance prevent damage to the coated surface of the pipe during installation within the casing. This ensures long-term resistance to chemical corrosion, minimizing cold flow of the coating on the carrier pipe.

RECOMMENDED SPACING

In line with the general "rule of thumb" in the pipeline industry, Casing Insulators are typically spaced 8 to 15 feet apart. However, for our Pipeline Casing Insulator, we recommend a specific spacing arrangement. Ideally, position two insulators at each end of the casing and then space the remaining insulators 6 to 8 feet apart.
